About
Welcome to Balanced with Dr Laura Lane (EdD, MAR)

Hi, I’m Laura - I’m a certified Women's Health Coach and clinical reflexologist with a Doctorate in Education. I'm also an endo warrior in surgical menopause after being diagnosed with advanced endometriosis in 2019 while I was grappling with what I now know were perimenopause symptoms. I had excision surgery in 2019 followed by a hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy 2 years later (due to ongoing symptoms, fibroids and suspected adenomyosis). My hysterectomy put me into surgical menopause at age 41 and I've since been treating SIBO, bladder pain syndrome and chronic fatigue. My experience has given me a deep understanding of the challenges that come with living with endometriosis.

After experiencing burnout and a rollercoaster of menopause symptoms following my hysterectomy I re-trained in women’s health and reflexology and created Balanced, a space for raising awareness about endometriosis and supporting women navigating stress in their lives (whether due to endometriosis or other factors including menopause). Building on my previous yoga teacher training, I wanted to help other women benefit from deep relaxation and nervous system regulation (through the magic of reflexology) and to make positive lifestyle changes with transformative potential for overall health and wellness (through compassionate health coaching).
Work with me to navigate endometriosis and menopause
I'm a fully certified women's health coach after training with Dr Jessica Drummond at the Integrative Women's Health Institute. My in-depth training specialised in integrative health, positive behaviour change, hormone health, menstrual health and functional nutrition. Have you recently been diagnosed with endometriosis or just had surgery or your symptoms have increased due to peri/menopause but you're overwhelmed with where to start? Perhaps you're experiencing painful periods, poor sleep, low energy, brain fog, sluggish digestion or bloating (endo belly). We'll work together collaboratively to identify small action steps you can take that will help you to start enjoying life again. You'll have access to a range of helpful resources so that you can establish sustainable personal strategies and tools you can use for navigating your symptoms.
My women's health coaching services will be available later in 2025. Find out more and book your 20 minute free Discovery Call where we can talk about how coaching can help you take the first step towards living well and thriving.

My passion for movement and the outdoors started in my teenage years. I played competitive women’s football throughout college and university and now enjoy hiking, regular yoga and Pilates and gentle strength work. Walking daily in nature helps me to recharge and I've enjoyed regular reflexology and acupuncture for over 10 years - these are both part of my own toolkit for helping me to manage my endometriosis, SIBO and surgical menopause symptoms.

I love to infuse breathwork into my health coaching and reflexology practice to promote relaxation and provide you with your own self-care and stress management tools to support you on a day-to-day basis.
