Hi, I’m Laura - a certified Women's Health Coach and clinical reflexologist with a Doctorate in Education. I'm also an endo warrior in surgical menopause after being diagnosed with advanced endometriosis in 2019 while grappling with perimenopause. I had excision surgery in 2019 and a hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy 2 years later (due to ongoing symptoms, fibroids and suspected adenomyosis). I entered surgical menopause at age 41 and I've since been navigating SIBO, bladder pain syndrome, osteopenia/osteoarthritis and fatigue. My experience has given me a deep understanding of the challenges of living with endometriosis and invisible, chronic illness. â€‹â€‹

After experiencing a rollercoaster of menopause symptoms following my hysterectomy I trained in women’s health and reflexology and created Balanced, a safe space for raising awareness about endometriosis and helping others navigate endo, menopause and stress. Building on my yoga training, I wanted to share the benefits of deep relaxation and nervous system support through reflexology (which has helped me manage my own endo) and, via health coaching, lifestyle change for navigating life with endo and menopause.

I'm trained in Women's Health Coaching, receiving my certification with Dr Jessica Drummond at the Integrative Women's Health Institute. I am also trained in Menopause Yoga (training with Petra Coveney) and Reflexology for Menopause (training with Sally Earlam). My in-depth training specialises in integrative health, sustainable behaviour change, hormone health, endocrine balance and functional nutrition. Have you recently been diagnosed with endometriosis or just had surgery or your symptoms have increased due to peri/menopause but you don't know where to start? My passion for movement and the outdoors started in my teenage years. I played competitive women’s football throughout college and university and now enjoy hiking, yoga and Pilates. Walking daily in nature helps me recharge and I've enjoyed regular reflexology and acupuncture treatments for over 10 years as part of my own toolkit for living endo and surgical menopause.

I love to infuse breathwork into my reflexology and health coaching to promote relaxation and provide you with self-care tools for managing stress and nervous system regulation to support you on a day-to-day basis.
