Reclaim your wellness with health coaching

Are you feeling unsure which steps to take after recently being diagnosed with endometriosis or discovering that you are in perimenopause or menopause? At these moments healthy lifestyle changes are often recommended but with little personalised guidance about what this might look like in practice. Health coaching can help you to identify the changes that will mean the most to you and that will be easiest to keep to in the longer term, working at your own pace and on your own terms. 

Why choose health coaching with me

I trained with Dr Jessica Drummond at the Integrative Women’s Health Institute covering evidence based approaches for positive behaviour change alongside the unique aspects of women's health, metabolism and physiology. I can work with you holistically to explore the action steps that align with where you are right now, your priorities and current situation focussing on the changes that will bring ripple effects for overall wellness. 

I know what it's like to have symptoms dismissed or be rushed through medical appointments only to come out with more questions. I know how it feels to be running on adrenaline with chronically high cortisol levels and inflammation leading to burnout. My health coaching focuses on giving you the space to step back from this and identify what you want to achieve for your wellness - what living well looks like for you. Often the lifestyle steps we identify are small but can provide you with personal tools for navigating endometriosis or significant hormonal shifts. These changes can also run in parallel with any medical treatment or work you may be doing with other health professionals, such as pain management or physiotherapy. 

 

You don't have to have endometriosis and be in peri/menopause to work with me, we can focus on either of these exclusively and we can work together at any stage in your hormonal life cycle. I developed a personal interest in the intersection between endometriosis and perimenopause after my own experience of a late  diagnosis (age 39) when I was starting to experience perimenopause symptoms. You may suspect you have endometriosis - I know diagnosis takes time but in the meantime you may want to make lifestyle changes to help manage your symptoms. Menopause (including surgical menopause) brings its own new challenges or renewed motivation to prioritise ourselves and our wellness which can often be an opportunity to embrace health coaching.
